Tiden har en massa. Jag ser spåren på min kropp och jag känner tyngden. Men hur ser mina årsringar ut? Tanken skrämmer mig lite. Vad har jag ens gjort med min tid? Ibland vill jag sprätta upp en ring som är för hårt knuten. Jag vill lösa upp den och göra om den ännu bättre. Men ringen kan aldrig bli ogjord och vad spelar det ens för roll? Jag påminner mig själv om hur värdefullt även ett tungt smycke kan vara. Årsringar, mina cirklar. Jag tar hand om dem, stora och små. Den växande massan blir tyngre och stadigare där jag står. En oursäktad närvaro. Jag är tung nu, stark. Är det såhär det känns att äntligen kunna drömma? Jag har alltid varit en rockstjärna och inga smycken i världen är för tunga för mig. Jag externaliserar mina minnen för att organisera och bevara vad som annars riskerar att flyta ihop. Jag försöker bevara, organisera och framför allt sakta ner tiden som passerar, i en kontext där tid är vad som utgör det växande avståndet mellan det och de som finns kvar och inte. Sakerna, minnena, och det förflutna ackumuleras och lägger sig på hög och jag blir översvämmad av de dagar som redan levts. Tiden är obegriplig, och att försöka fånga och bevara ett ögonblick är att likna vid en krampaktig ansträngning att isolera en av alla vågor som rullar iland på en sandstrand. Probably, the reason for it is in the dual essence of our reality. Our world consists of physical and metaphysical layers, like two sides of one coin. Each person, as a part of this dual world, combines the material and spiritual in himself (herself), and the artist believes that each object in our energy-informational reality should have the same structure. The statement sounds logical, but it cannot be proved with the use of science and technologies. Elen Alien thinks that if it is impossible to find the answer using common methods and modern technologies, there is always a way to ask our ancestors referring to ancient beliefs of different cultures. And there was a pre-scientific idea of primitive people about the spirit existing in everyobject called animism. In 21st century, people came back to the similar ideas in the Heidegger-influenced school of thought ‘Object-oriented ontology’ that rejects the privileging of human existence over the existence of nonhuman objects. The artwork “Souls” is created from dry flowers symbolizing a body, a material part of reality, and epoxy resin representing its metaphysical part (soul or energy). We usually think of the soul in the context of death. For example, during funeral ceremonies, when we see the soulless body, it is very strange and unusual to see just a physical shell of the person. Usually, we can not hold this type of one-sided reality, we don’t understand this change, it’s hard to accept it, and we cry. Elen Alien’s artistic force is the ability to transform pain into beauty. In this artwork, I have connected the image of flowers, traditionally brought to funeral ceremonies, and the image of tears, falling down on the ground as a physical part of us driven by nonmaterial force, for the viewer to have the appropriate mood to start thinking of life and death. If the viewer takes one piece of the composite artwork and places it in front of the white wall, for it to play with the sunbeams, (s)he will see how the spiritual part of the piece (represented as a translucent drop or puddle) creates the beautiful shadow on the wall, but (s)he can not see the body of flower in this reflection. 10:26:28 +0000 vårutställning2022 https://varutstallning2022.cargo.site/Marc-Andreas-Ingel Jag heter Marc Andreas Ingel och jag är målare. Under Projektkonst-utbildningen så har jag arbetat med två olika projekt parallellt. I det första så har intresserat mig landskapet och specifikt landskapsmåleriet som genre. Jag har målat utomhus på vissa förutbestämda platser där människans påverkan varit uppenbar eller inte alls. Medvetet har jag sökt platser med symbolisk laddning och potential. Att måla utomhus har varit en betydelsefull erfarenhet. Jag förstår numera än mer vikten av att utgå från naturen i skapandet. Mitt andra projekt bär titeln ”Den sista diktaturen” och berör min bakgrund som professionell fotbollsspelare. Det blir ett sätt för mig att delvis bearbeta min fotbollskarriär och samtidigt rikta strålkastarljuset mot sådant som sällan syns i medierna. Det som intresserar mig med detta projekt är inte spelet på planen utan vad som sker utanför. Ämnen som jag vill belysa är initiationsriter som spårar ur, gruppdynamik, flockbeteende, förgiftande maskulinitet och rädslan att inte räcka till. Tanken är att fortsätta arbeta med det här projektet under dom närmsta åren. A relationship between an older man and a teenage girl is like owning a jumping bean. She is a pet in a pupa, developing. A grown up man feels the need of power. The urge to find and prey on a submissive other half. Grabbing pieces of their significant other for their own gratification and self image. Lack of experience, leading to an imbalance of power. This is being apparent in a relationship where love bombing and controlling behavior is being mistaken for romance. A claustrophobic and sticky environment is being wrongly interprated as safe. Loving words of affection and protection pouring over your body, suffocating you. One day metamorphisis is done, the bean breaks open and the woman can now fly away. Nästan var fjärde person i vuxen ålder har någon gång tagit en nap mitt på dagen eller åtminstone drömt om att göra det. Hur kan en kort tupplur bli mer tillgänglig när möjligheten att befinna sig hemma är väldigt begränsad? I mitt projekt har jag utvecklat ett nytt koncept för en snabbmatsrestaurang. Nu kan man spendera resten av sin lunchtid på en uppfriskande powernap. Det kan man såklart göra utan att behöva köpa en måltid. Det visuella identiteten är det första och kan vara det viktigaste steget till hela restaurangupplevelsen. Jag har använt två starka kontrasterande färger för att översätta konceptet. Den röda och den blå färgen symboliserar maten respektive sömnen.
